Bunch of ****** with pathetic customer service.

If you thought of taking out a contract with Telkom, spare yourself a headache and don't.

I took out a contract over the phone in January this year. They did a test debt on the 9th of January. Upon taking out the contract, I was told that my money will be refunded after 3 successful debts. Needless to say that that didn't happen

So in May I called into the call centre (180] and I spoke to an agent who logged a case for me and told me that it will take 72 working hours to get it resolved. So I waited and then I received an sms stating that my query is resolved and I should contact the call centre if I have any query. I called the call centre only to be told that my query was logged incorrectly therefore it was closed.

They then logged a new query which was also not resolved but it was closed due to the fact that it was beyond SLA. So they closed the case even though nobody had attended to it.

So then they logged another case and on 13 June I received a message saying my case was resolved and I should contact the call centre. Minutes later I received an sms staring that I should send my proof of payment to ********** because apparently the debt doesn't reflect on their side. I sent the proof of payment on the very same day however that R. C. Ndlovu person couldn't even be bothered to sent an acknowledge of the documents.

I sat there and waited but nothing happened. So I called again and was told to send PoP to ********** which I did but still nothing.

I've sent the email with my PoP 15 times to Telkom, I've made numerous calls and spoken to a dozen people about this matter but till today nothing has been done.

When I called in on Friday I was told to call sales on 10213 which I did and was told to call 10212 which I did only to be told to call 180. I called 180 and spoke to Luyanda who told me that the system is down and when l ask her to tranfer me to a supervisor, she refused.

So I cut the call and called back and spoke to Lubabalo and I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor. He asked me to briefly explain my query which I did and he told me to hold the line. Whilst I was holding the line I was then transferred to the rating service without having spoken to a supervisor which proves useless anyway seeing that the last supervisor I spoke to, Philile Duma, did nothing to help resolve this matter. The last email I sent her, dated 05/09/18 is yet to get a response.

I'm not sure who I should talk to at Telkom to get this resolved. I'm tired of being sent from pillar to post. I don't understand why it's taking 5-6 months to process a refund or credit my account
