Broken telkom line for 5 weeks and NO SERVICE!!
I reported my broken line to Telkom per sms on 20 January 2015 by sms to 30591, after 5 days of no service. I did it again on 23 January and got a message to say that a fault had already been reported on this telephone number and I was given a reference number. I have repeatedly sent an sms to 30591 and they keep telling me that a fault has already been reported and NOTHING GETS DONE. Reference No ***, 446970,453090

I have personally been into the Telkom shop at the Pavilion Shopping Centre and spoken to Kenneth on numerous occasions (at least 3 times) to report this broken line. Each time he fills in another form to expedite the service and a few minutes later I get an sms from Telkom to say that I will be getting a phone call from them within 24 hours. Nothing at all. My husband has also gone to see Kenneth and reported the problem, so has my housesitter.

How many times must one report a broken telephone and what else must one do to get service from Telkom. This is not acceptable, totally frustrating, and highly inconveniencing. Please note I pay my account on time every month, despite the lack of service for all these weeks. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
