Broken Telephone pole - Still broken - TELKOM dead
2 Weeks later - STILL NO!!! communication from TELKOM!!

Had an automatic email reply from Telkom with my previous complaint (from a Hillary on the Social Media Team). The quick automated response looks impressive.. as though they are all fired up & ready to solve your problem immediately - but its just a window dressing email, and you are hushed into placidity. Still the same old 'you will get no where with Telkom'!!

THE PROBLEM: I have been trying to report a pole containing Telkom lines that is about to fall over onto my house. I have logged about 3 reports and every time they tell me via sms that the line has been restored and that if not solved I must phone 10210 again. I have done so a couple of times, (AND I HAVE STRESSED THAT IT IS NOT THE LINES). No luck, its been 5 weeks now that I have been trying. The pole is cracked and we are scared it will hit the wall or worse our house.

TELKOM RESPONSE to PREVIOUS COMPLAINT - YET NO FEEDBACK:

This response serves as confirmation that your query has been received and we will provide feedback soon.

We do apologize for any inconvenience we have cause to you.

Your reference number is SM214903
Regards
Hilary
Telkom Social Media
