BROKEN PHONE POLE WITH SHREDDED TELEPHONE LINES

Untreated telephone pole in Kinross Road, Parkview, Johannesbug, fell over due to termites having eaten the base of the pole on Monday 11th April at midday. This resulted in the cable being torn and no telephone lines for a large area since then including my medical practice. It is imperative that my practice has reliable communication i.e. fax, telephone and ASDL lines. However it is now Thursday 14th April and the telephone pole is still lying on the side of the road with all the torn wires attached to it. I have been given the assurance that the problem will be attended to but as yet have not seen anyone attending to the problem.
