Broken ADSL + Phone Line and resolution

<p>Hellopeter. Telkom Fault No: 94CRK270117. About a month ago I noticed that my landline suddenly had a funny irritating noise during phone calls and the ADSL line speed became way below the speed-limit. Gave it a some time thing it will resolve itself but no luck. So about 2 weeks ago I logged a call with Telkom about this matter, the first few days I was getting regular SMS updates in a Percentage form until up to the last one where it was 90% towards resolution. It's now been about 2 weeks still no resolution, the consultants are rude and no one knows what the problem is. I was last told it's with the cabling department and there's no set time frame for resolution in that department and that all I can do is wait. Wait??? Fault No: 94CRK270117</p>
