Breach of contract by Telkom - additional charges added without authorization

<p>This complaint refers to the ******** services which Telkom added to my account without any agreements and notifications.<br />I am your loyal customer since July, 2014. I didn’t have any problems with my first 2 products.<br />In July, 2015 I purchased additional product – Smart Internet 500MB+Lenovo G4070 Core i3 (number ********** 939). This laptop with data has been paid up after 24 months’ contract. After some professional advice, I checked my bills in details and noticed that Telkom added CLI (Call Line Identity) to this contract and has been charging me R8.50 monthly. Please note my contract clearly states NO additional value added service. I never subscribed for that because no one needs CLI (Call Line Identity) for the internet device. I need the amount of R204 to be refunded to my bank account (R8.50 for 24 months’ contract).<br />But it is not the end to Telkom greediness. In April, 2016 I purchased another product Wireless 5GB+5GB+Huawei B315 (number ********** 780). For some unknown reason in November, 2016 (after 7 months of contract) Telkom also added R8.50 to this contract. Instead of charging R199 (clearly states in the agreement) Telkom started to bill my account with R207.50. This case is a complete breach of contract from Telkom’s side. I need the explanation for this misconduct and R68 to be credited to my bank account (R8.50 for 8 months of incorrect billing). Moreover, this CLI service must be removed from this number as it was never requested and clearly added ********ly.<br />To sum it up, Telkom totally owes me R272 (R204 for ********** 939 internet number and R68 for current ********** 780 internet number). Waiting for your investigation and prompt response. I trust I gave the detailed explanation.<br />For all Telkom customers who are reading my complaint: please check your bills in details every month. You also can be bul****. I never expected this pathetic behaviour from such company. </p>
