Braamfontein upgraded to VDSL but Telkom cancels all the orders for upgrades even downgrades my service

I was on 20Mbps ADSL2 in Braamfontein, Johannesburg with dialling codes 011339***X and 011403***X. On November 2017 Telkom upgraded Braamfontein to VDSL and Fibre. This isn't shown in the website yet, but a technician at the exchange confirms it --I can provide details to relevant Telkom personnel on request.

During January 2017, I placed requests ********** 78A , ********** 65A , and ********** 51A . All of them got cancelled without notice but the last one with a twist: I actually got downgraded to 4Mbps ADSL (!?). The call centre says that because they don't have 40Mbps in their menu options for Braamfontein, they can't place the order --which may also be why the 40Mbps coverage is not yet reflected in Telkom's coverage map on https://secure.telkom.co.za/today/ucm/

I first reported this problem via Facebook but they keep making me wait. Who can help me get the 40Mbps that is available since November 2016 in Braamfontein? Does Telkom want my business?

Reviewer Update

Following the telephone exchange upgrade in Braamfontein last November, I had placed several requests in January for the upgrade of my line to 40Mbps; but as this was not reflected in the sales teams' systems, it got canceled every time by the provisioning team. Consequently I proceeded to consumer site hellopeter.com where Keagan initiated action. Rafeeqah of the Social Media team took on this query and obtained Ref. No ********** 12A . In less than a week, she got the Telkom Braamfontein coverage map updated and my line upgraded. Now that is something to speak of.
