Black Friday deals - declined due to "credit vetting"

On Friday 24 November, I app**** online for the 1gig black Friday promo for the Samsung J7 pro. I received an email later that day confirming that my order had been placed. On Monday 27 November i called the call centre and spoke to Roxanne who told me that she could not find my online order but that she could assist me in processing a new order. I spent over 30 mins on the phone processing the order and received an initial go-ahead from credit vetting. Later that day I get a call from Telkom that my order was declined due to "affordability", the agent could not explain why. I then receive an sms stating that my order was declined during "credit vetting". This is absolute nonsense as the income and expenses i submitted to Telkom clearly demonstrate that I can afford the R199 a month contract. I also did a credit check on myself and I have an excellent credit rating. I would like to know the real reason I was declined and what is Telkom going to do about this? I still need my contract as I am without a phone. These Black Friday deals are false advertising. I am very disappointed in Telkom, I was supposed to take out a fibre deal with them as well but after this I have changed my mind.
