Billing and suspension
Frustrating experience.Good day
I would like to log a complaint about my device which was ****** on 2nd August 2019. I was in Gauteng at the time and then asked somone to let my daughter know it was ****** and asked her to report device ******, this was around 11 on the 3rd of August. She then let me know that they were unable to blacklist the device as she did not have all the information. I could only then later use someone's device to log the report of ****** device. Meanwhile other activities were taking place on the account, data and airtime was transferred to another device to the value of r5000.
Now I need to know, why are there no security measures in place to avoid such activities, and this after receiving a call noting device was ******. The consultant I spoke to when I realised my device was suspended laughed at me or the situation, I don't know. My devices are still suspended also after I spoke to a consultant on Monday saying we will be able to use devices on Wednesday as it takes 48hours.
My question is again, after a note has been made that device was ******, why should I be held liable for the above mentioned amount, if I wanted a contract to offer so much data and airtime I would have taken such contract.
It is so frustrating trying to even log a complaint, as I went instore as well as called in and emailed, yet the issue has not been resolved in order to please me the customer. I was told I HAVE to pay the amount.
Please advise regarding this matter.
