BEWARE ******** CALLING THEMSELVES TELKOM SECURITY ARE ON THE PROWL

On the 21st November 2019, I received a call from a gentleman identifying himself as 'Telkom Security' and that he was going to install my new modem as well as make the line secure. To cut a long story short, there were two guys on the phone the whole day.

Only at around 16h30 I noticed that money had been paid from my husbands bank account. I immediately cut the call and phoned the bank to close both my husband's and my bank account. Unfortunately it was too late, all our money had been taken out of our accounts. DO NOT EVEN TRY AND CONTACT TELKOM, they are not interested in anything except cable theft.

The case was reported to the Police as well as the bank. To no avail, we can kiss our money goodbye. We are not getting that money back.

I want to know where they got my telephone number from and how they knew that I had received a new HUAWEI router????? Someone in Telkom is working with these guys.
