Beware of Telkom Telesales *****

Hi There, I just thought I should make you guys aware out there about Telkom's telesales ***** scheme just to push sales.

Here is the situation, two years back I took a data contract with Telkom and I used it for around eighteen month without any problem except the famous poor network connectivity.

I then received a call from from one of their telesales lady saying that my WiFi router was due for an upgrade. I then explained to the lady that I can't have two contracts of the same package. She then told me that upon delivery of the upgraded router my first contract one will be cancelled so I only remain with one contract. I then agreed ton a recorded phone call that I will only agree to that if I wont be paying two contracts of the thing.

To cut story short, Telkom is today debiting two contracts which I never I agreed to. I have never even used their second router. They stopped giving me data August 2019 after stopping the debit on my account for us to resolve the issue. Telkom is still even today sending me statements of the two contacts with the accumulated monthly premiums. They do this to threaten people with black listing if they don't pay . My surprise is they are not even willing to listen to me and resolve this fairly.

Please never accept any offer from Telkom's telesales people as they will do whatever it takes including lying to push sales and Telkom wont care to listen to you but take you money no matter the situation. ***)
