Beware of Telkom.

If you as a customer accepted a Telkom offer of a free trial of Prime Video with a low charge of R 29 per month after the trial period, make sure that you cancel the Prime Video before you sever the ties with Telkom. I did not do so, and now Telkom continue for bill me for a service that I no longer require. The Telkom office in Galleria, Amanzimtoti tried to cancel it for me but were unable to do so. Their record shows that I have no add-on entertainment against a phone number that has never been mine but is what comes up if I log in to the Telkom website. Amazon have not as yet responded to my request to cancel the Prime Video service - possibly they have it under a block Telkom subscription.
