BEGGING for assistance!

I've experienced poor (or a lack of) service from Telkom since day 1, it was if I had to force someone to sign me up.

The problem I am experiencing now is more severe. The contract phone for my daughter was ****** on 10 June 2017, I immediately reported it to Telkom's call centre (081180) and to the police station, I was told the phone would be blacklisted and an ITC number would be sent within 2 hours, 17 days later and after several emails, calls and online chats I still have not received the ITC number needed to claim back from the insurance.

The insurance already approved my claim but cannot process without the ITC number. We are nearing month end and I will be expected to pay the full monthly installment for a phone and data no longer in my posession, in all fairness Telkom should reimburse me for the data lost in the time they failed to provide the ITC number.

Kind regards

Best regards,
Today, call centre agent Gishwill gave me the ITC number via the online chat (thank you Gishwill!). I feel the data for the time I waited on Telkom's response should be reimbursed or the installment should be refunded or adjusted accordingly. 6 days short of a month's wait.

Best regards,
An apology doesn't make a difference. Telkom has really terrible service! Even to get a contract signed was a mission on it's own. Funny, how I only received a response once the query was resolved.
The fact that a big company like Telkom is not even willing to TRY and accommodate a customer is pathetic. I understand I am liable for my installments, but how is it fair to be charged for the full month without a phone or data and the fault was that of Telkom? There are various ways of showing Telkom actually cares for their customers and the apology is for real - it doesn't have to be a refund, the decent and easiest thing to do would be to send the data that was left and lost for the month of June after the phone was ****** and for the time delay caused by Telkom's lack of service. It's sad that companies are quick to ask for their money but takes their own time to deliver....
Telkom has the worst customer service!
