Been trying to cancel my ADSL for 2 weeks

Telkom is refusing to cancel my ADSL with them for two weeks. They require that you complete a form and email it to them. I have done this and no one is responding to my request. The automatic request indicates that the will contact me within 48 to 72 hours. No one has contacted me to date. I have sent the request several times, but still no cancellation order has been logged. I have spoken to several consultants and no one is competent to do the cancellation or the refer me to someone else and those consultants refer me back to the general call centre. Never in my life have I had such bad customer service as with Telkom. Right through my rental period I had only bad experiences from bad/unhelpful customer service to technical problems taking weeks and multiple phone calls to resolve. On two occasions the consultants cut off my call. The recent being Esther after asking for her surname. This is the main reason I want to cancel my line - bad customer service. Even this is proving to be one of the most frustrating experiences yet. What more must I do so that my line gets cancelled? My next step will be the Office of the Consumer Protector!
