Be Careful When Signing a Fibre Contract Telkom Change the Rules

I signed up for fibre which had recently been installed In the area. Included in the contract was a TV WiFi connection device and SIM card with 2GB monthly data. I asked if this could be changed to a WiFi range extender as this was being advertised on the Telkom website and was assured that it would not be a problem. By the way, you can by the range extender for R399 from Teklkom for R399 which makes their R499 advertising valuation a lie. Needles to say, the fibre was installed AND I RECEIVED NOTHING ELSE. I contacted accounts who agreed I should have received the TV device package, but said I could got to a Telkom shop, explain the situation, and pick up a range extender. The Telkom shop at the Glen declined, and said that the TV WiFi equipment should have been couriered to me.

The bottom line is that I only have my Fibre and NOTHING ELSE, which in my book is dishonest. So I guess it is Telkom and I in the Small Claims court next year.
