Bad TelkomZA service

I have on numerous occasions complained about my dead landline. The technician came, checked my connection, line from the pole and found that the cable feeding our landline was damaged. He obviously couldn't repair a cable fault running underground. I informed Telkom on several occasions and all I get back is a SMS stating that the problem is resolved even though it is still dead.
