Bad Telkom Internet Connectivity in Townships

I have been a Telkom subscriber for more than 10 years but the treatment I have received of late, is extremely appalling. Whenever I am in Sandton, my data works just fine throughout the day, all day. However, when I am in Tsakane and Geluksdal (Brakpan townships), my wifi and mobile data do not work. I also experience this lack of connectivity when I am in Orlando, Soweto.

This previous weekend I only had connectivity for less than an hour at a time in between very long periods of zero connectivity. My phone writes, "Connected without internet". Why connect without internet? What is the use? I have complained numerously since last year October but to no avail; Telkom cannot even return calls at an agreed time.

I am not renewing my service with Telkom and I encourage those who are still subscribers to jump to better Internet Service Providers. This is absolutely unacceptable; it is as though Telkom is practicing apartheid! I am very disappointed and extremely angry! What is the use of paying for data I cannot use?
