Bad Service and Unfair Practice: 4MB fibre line costing R14'000-00 per month
Telkom oversold us a 4MB fibre line (R14'000-00 per month) and a PBX for 3 users for R5'500-00 per month. We are a SME and these costs are ****ing us -- By the end of 2015, Telkom dropped their costs dramatically - you can get 100MB fibre for about R3'000-00 per month now. We asked Telkom at the beginning of 2016 to consolidate our account and give us a more affordable solution -- They make empty promises and nothing is happening -- except that we are charged R20'000-00 a month and have no fibre - running our business from 3G. We believe that Telkom cannot justify their service costs and this cannot be seen as fair - how can you change R14'000-00 per month for a 4MB fibre line for one customer and the other hand 100MB fibre for R3'500-00 per month. After repeated emails and telephone calls, our lines have been switched off and Telkom is refusing to sort out the issue. Despite the fact that we have a designated account manager, with a business SLA agreement, we are being ignored and patronised. They are just ignoring us where we tried to follow the internal route of raising our complaint/request. Effectively we are paying for a solution that we cannot use. Many empty promises and months later, still nor resolution. Maybe others have the same issue and we can stand together for affordable services to SME's.
