Bad service

This is probably ok in Western Cape, particularly in Cape Town because while everyone else has evolved to 2019, CT remains stuck in 1969. On Monday , April 15th, I visited Telkom in Promenade, Mitchells Plain and the girl who was meant to assist me, Waashema (or whatever the hell her name is) was soooo rude. I could almost not believe it. I asked about the wifi router I was trying to get as to whether it was true that it only covered CT. I had recently witnessed a friend who couldn't use the same device less than 50km outside CT. The girl suggested that I wanted to use the device in the Eastern Cape, which puzzled me because I have absolutely nothing to do with the EC and I had not said anything about the province. I told her that I asked nothing about that province and I have nothing to do with it and all I wanted to is whether it was true that the device only works in CT. She finally said yes (which would have been easy), then she was so annoyed that I spoke up against her judgmental attitude and she became clearly hostile. All this while she had my SA passport in her hands, supposedly processing my request. Suddenly, boom! "We don't accept passports"....Like really? All because I stood up to her. So, I could not be assisted even though a SA passport carries a SA ID number because you can't apply for the passport without the ID....Anyway, I returned on Thursday and was assisted by a really professional lady and gentleman. What I found ridiculous though was that the manager had hard time believing that I knew exactly who ill treated me. Like he could measure my level of intelligence or something. I told them that I hated that branch because of that encounter but it's unfortunately 2km away from my house and I can't waste more fuel not knowing if the service will be any better elsewhere. My first experience with telkom was a terrible one....
