Im totally dissatisfied with the service I receive from Telkom that I took out Feb 2017. 1. Battery ran out of battery life quick returned the handset to get a new one, they sent the whole handset away for repairs took 2 weeks and with that I wanted to cancel my contract within the first 6 days and was told that I can't . Since then Telkom has shown me nothing but bad service, several calls on a monthly basis with bad customer service and seldom to not no issues resolved. 2. Almost a year into my contract out of 2 years now Telkom has being a constant headache and nightmare. Several times between the 20th and 31st of each month Telkom tends to get the billing wrong on two of my lines where I need to call them for lengthly periods, long dial tones eventually when I do get through to an agent, 9/10 times agents has attitude, belittles the customer and just wants to get me off the call. Now I have found that the agents are *********** and has little if no sense of customer service as when a well noted enquiry is presented to them they often tend to put myself on long holds where I explicitly request for them not to put me on hold rather brief silent mutes as a refresher every few minutes, shall assure me as a customer that they are still taking my complaint or query seriously. Leading now into hours most times on the call, understandably now frustrated requesting to speak to a manager to promptly resolve the matter I get back and forths from managers not being available and is told then I should just wait till one becomes available, and now the long holds starts without my approval.
Everytime I need to hear different policies and procedures every now and again a simple apology from a manager and the hesitation getting back to me with a resolution to my matter or complaint. So this has happend every month since the onset of my contract. My main frustration and outcry is that Telkom accourding to popular believe and over the past year - mine aswell Telkom like to charge rejection fees (Scandel to gain revenue). In the first 6 months I made manuel payments as I work for myself, Telkoms policy is that payments need to be made 10 days prior to the debit date which is the last day of the month with this been done after 2 seperate interactions with them my money was deposited on-time but yet Telkom still put forward debit orders and rejection fees being charged. After having enough of this I started depositing money into my account for debit orders to go off, however, Telkom still rejected themsevlesbso too say and rejection fees was/are being charged. More recently, after speaking to Agent - Akhona Madlala / ********** za that rudely and suddenly placed me on hold for 30mins after me requesting to speak to a Manager - Sindi Mposana/ ********** (Sindi Manager Terence Puckree/ ********** ended the call and after several minutes called me back and never mindedly mentioned that she was dealing with other complaints, hense, the delay : Call ***/01/2018/18:17 with the call ending the second time Sindi was advising that rejection fees of R200.94 was added for March 2017 to my current December bill 2017. Money was not attempted accounding to my bank to be taken from Telkom, yet, again accourding to Sindi a manger, Telkom senior memeber - rejection fees from March was added to Dec months bill (9 months later). The call ended and yet again Sindi the manager has not called a very unhappy customer back again. I feel that again this month ill need to pay my several rejection fee and theres not much if nothing I can do about it as Telkoms senior staff does not seem to assist a loyal paying customer especially when the "technical issues" they so fondly speak about lies with themselves. I will continue expressing my dissatisfaction with the monopoly company of this magnitude so that people can save themselves alot of time and money knowing about Telkoms " contemporary Technical billing issues".
I hope that this matter can be resolved before I need to take this matter even further.
