Bad service
I came across a Telkom special for May which was free for the first 3 months and then you pay R499 for next 24 months. I then went to the Telkom store at Carnival Mall to sign up for the package. The lady that assisted me then told me that I’d be contacted as soon as I have been approved of the package and if not they’d still call and let me know because I did not want to settle for the original price which was R699. The Technician came 2 days after and turned back because he did not have the specific tools to install everything. He came back the next morning. Before installing everything, I asked him which package did I get and he said I got the one for R699 which was the one I did not sign up for. He then said that he will speak to his supervisor then get back to me. I waited for 2 weeks, still no feedback. I tried calling the technician’s number ***) and no answer. My daughter went to Telkom and spoke to an agent who then said we were approved of the package for R499, but instead it will show the package for R699 on the technician’s side which was not clarified by the lady who assisted me on the first day. He then told her to contact 10213 but that did not help. I kept on going back to Telkom and for most of the days their system was offline. I then spoke to the Supervisor, Brian Graff, who showed no interest in assisting me. I then went back the next, and the system was still offline. I spoke to a lady at the door named Buhle and kindly asked her to pass on my contact details to the supervisor, Brian Graff, so that he can call me as soon as possible to solve the matter. A week passed. I went back to the store. The lady was even surprised to see me. She then said that she personally gave the note to Brian, who still do not contact me. I went in and spoke to an agent who gave me attitude. A lady, one of the agents, then intervened. She called the technician and asked him why he hasn’t installed everything and he said that he did not know how to. I was then told that a technician would come the next day. He came, he installed everything and told me to contact 10213 to activate the Wifi as well as the username and password. The lady called with the number *** and asked me if the technician came and I said yes. I called 10213, again and spoke to an agent named Sthembiso Nyeleti who told me that I’d receive everything via SMS within the next 48 hours. It’s been 4 days now, I haven’t received anything. I called the store today (15 June) and asked to speak to Brian Graff. I asked him for assistance, he then asked “why are you calling the store. What must the store do about this?”
Please help me sort this out Z P Mthombeni *** ***
