Bad resolution skills

My phone got ****** 3 days ago and I went to the Telkom branch in Clearwater to get a sim swap as well as blacklist my number. I was very kindly assisted with this however, on my new phone( 3 days later) I STILL don't have service. I have phoned multiple times and even been into the store multiple times to resolve this but I'm constantly told it can take between 5-24 hours. I feel helpless, without service my phone is just a chunk of metal and I'm getting increasingly frustrated. No-one seems to have a resolution.
