Bad latency/ping on Telkom LTE

I can't believe this is still a problem in 2018. I had a more consistent ping 7 years ago. 50ms to over 500ms. This is genuinely unacceptable.

I tried to call and see if I could maybe resolve it with them. They didn't answer.
