Bad Internet for years

Hi I live in zeekoevlei and for the last 10 years we have had extremely slow internet speeds. On a good day my internet speeds reach 2mb on a bad day it reaches less than a meg. this sounds decent but i pay for a 4 meg line. when is telkom going to upgrade the users in this area to a decent line. Even if i do a speed test and it says 4 megs i still cant play online gaming. I dont understand how a company can invest in so many different technologies yet they cant perfect older technologies! why does telkom open a mobile divsion without servicing existing adsl customer perfectly. why are they now branching into fibre and still majority of SA sits with bad internet. I think my best bet would be to move my line to a different ISP as telkom has made no advancements over the last 10 years in my area. To my understanding zeekoevlei links to an exchange either in wynberg or parkwood. by the time. we receive internet here the connection is slow. something has to be done about this
