bad internet connection

I have been with Telkom Internet for more than a year now and from the beginning I have had half of the Internet speed what I have paid for, I have also upgraded twice now and still get only half, I have filed many complaints with them and it never gets resolved, they sometimes say that they are busy fixing the problem and it will be done in a couple of days, And other times they say that it is my router that needs to be reset and I have done what they have asked of me but it all ways stays the same, I am now considering of moving to a different Internet provider.
