Bad customer service and Freeme package falsely advertised

When I saw the new freeme packages, I was interested in them because of Telkom receiving South Africa's best mobile broadband award from 2015, their service shure to be good and their prices were very affordable.

Upon porting from Cell C to Telkom I waited in the queue with other customers, where each customer was helped by giving attention of 30minutes to each of them, that means that while there was two customers in front of me I had to wait 1 hour to be helped and when I came to the lady she said I must wait until she can help me, after she called me!! So I stood a full hour and a half trying to port to Telkom.

After 48 hours the port didn't go through and I was forced to visit the Telkom shop once again during the week in my lunch break. The lady that helped me said that the porting service was held up by something and that I should able to use my SIM within an hour. So first of all I wasn't told by what it was held up by (probably the previous lady not liking my attitude towards her after calling me and making mistakes with my porting request) and secondly why should I wait 24 hours to 48 hours initially for the port to go through if they can do it in an hours time?

So the package I took was the Freeme 2GB package. See attached package. I'm suppose to get 2GB FUP of WhatsApp, Viber and BBM instead I get 498MB of Social Media. I'm also supposed to get 3000minutes FUP Telkom to Telkom landline and Telkom to Telkom Mobile calls, instead I get 300minutes. How is this not false advertising?

To top all of that, how can they be the leader of South Africa's mobile broadband when they don't even offer LTE (I'm living in Johannesburg, Northriding and work in Randburg even near Sandton I experience normal E), they ***gy back on MTN's network (I know this because I constantly see MTN as my service provider on my iPhone 7) and Speedtest tested 0,78Mbps of download and 0.05Mbps of upload speed while I'm connected on Telkom's 3G signal strength, something is fishy!

It would be rather entertaining for me to see someone trying to explain this as this is, not only false advertising but also poor service from South Africa's so called best mobile broadband service provider.

Good day Louis,

Please visit https://secure.telkom.co.za/today/shop/personal/plan/freeme-2-gb-boost/ to see 2GB FreeME Boost Bundle benefits.

We currently do not have LTE all over and we are partnered with MTN for areas that do not have Telkom 3G coverage where you will required to roam with no charge.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Regards,

Busi

I know that according to the website, but according to all the leaflets you hand out it clearly states otherwise. I will take a photo and post it here, as soon as I'm home.
