BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

On Wednesday 21/05/25 I received an sms from Telkom telling me that my service will be suspended due to collection. This I did not understand as my account is up to date. I even received my invoice stating Payment received, thank you on 30/04/25. I immediately called Telkom which is another challenge on its own, as when dialing 081180 there is NO option to select to speak to a customer service consultant, the ONLY way to speak to a person is to select option 4 for cancellation and then asking them to transfer me to customer service. Anyway, I called Telkom from Wednesday to Friday 7 times, and each time they told me that the system is offline and that they are not able to tell me why I received the sms and each time they told me to call back in an hour, MAYBE the system will be fixed by then. So, on Saturday my contract got suspended, and I still did not know why, as you could not assist me since Wednesday with telling me what the reason was, with getting no help from calling, I went to a shop. The shop consultant was able to tell me within 5 minutes that my account has been suspended due to "credit limit exceeded" my credit limit is R 2 500 and the account was R 2 520. Which I also do not understand, you got your money, my account is paid in full, but due to a credit limit that YOU set, my account is being suspended. If you set the credit limit, can you not see that my account is more than R 2 500 and set my limit accordingly? This meant that I had to pay R20 for my account to by unsuspended. I don't understand why I have to pay more than is due because of a credit limit you set, you received the due amount on all my accounts and now I have to pay even more, where is that money going? Not to my credit!!! And WHY can you not just send a sms or email stating why the account will be suspended so that the customer is informed and can make a plan to correct it BEFORE the service is suspended. No I have to wait 24 - 48 hours for my payment to reflect before my account will be unsuspended, and then I have to call back AGAIN to request my credit limit to be increased, as according to the consultant I spoke to today 26/05/25 told me that he is unable to request it while my contract is suspended. I am DEEPLY disappointed in the customer service you offer, I have 3 cellphone contracts and a Fibre contract with you and this is how I am being treated.
