I used to have a Telkkom ADSL at home 4mbps line. Upgraded during last year to 10mbps line, however ever since I did the speed and overall wifi was non-existing. I logged calls few times, without any luck. I decided to give 30 day notice 1 December to migrate my line to Afrihost. The entire process was followed (the form, email and got my reference etc) and I requested my line to be put in the holding pool for the migrations to other service provider. On 3 January when I spoke to Afrihost the line was not in the holding pool. I was also informed that the 4mbps line was never upgraded to a 10mb line because the infrastructure did not allow it. So although I paid for a 10mb line, it was still a 4mbps line. I also now had to re-apply for my ADSL line to be transferred to the holding pool. So I did. Twice. I was now also told that it can take 21 DAYS!!!! for the line to be transferred. Afrihost has been in contact with Telkom and the latest is the line DOES NOT EXIST! I mean really! This is super annoying and frustrating and pathetic customer service to say the least. To call 10210 is useless as you get put through from one agent to the next. WHAT should I do next?
