@TELKOMZA I WANT MY DATA OR MONEY REIMBURSED!!!

Telkom Mobile has become a nightmare service provider for both contract and prepaid subscribers.

The latest of my horrific experiences with @TelkomZA began when they didn't inform their faithful subscribers about the issues they were facing when migrating from MTN to Vodacom as their new Migration Partner.

The network basically dropped all the way out and for those of us who buy time-based bundles on both Mo'nice (*123#) and *180#, this spelt disaster and the beginning of a rabbit hole with no end.

I couldn't use my data due to the network having died altogether and thus my paid-for Mo'nice bundles (R15.90 for 1.25GB & R34.90 for 3GB) would expire. While this was happening, @TelkomZA 'convenient neglected to notify their subscriber base that they were experiencing technical issues which would obviously affect network quality. In their wilful negligence, they knowingly continued to allow us to purchase data bundles that they knew we couldn't use.

I called the call centre on countless occasions only to be met with the grossest of service ineptitude. I logged case after case asking @TelkomZA to reimburse me my data and none were resolved. I went to Twitter and was passed from pillar to post within their Social Media Special Forces Team over an extended period with every single member asking me to rehash my issue from the beginning. Eventually they blocked me. As I was reaching the end of my tether, I decided to go to the @TelkomZA store in Cresta Mall where another case was logged. This also led to an unresolved lack of resolution.

I'm writing this negative review because @TelkomZA has now shown how invested they are in corporate ****gery by strong-arming those who have been faithful to them. I will make sure that all the social media platforms that @TelkomZA uses for their marketing are countered with screenshots and links to reviews such as this one. I am owed almost 12GB or R104.70c. I want it. My phone is my mobile office and that data is my connection to my existing and future clients and customers.
