Astounding incompetence

<p>Telkom is quick with their form responses on social media, and here on Hellopeter, promising resolution...... only for nothing to be resolved at all.</p> <p>Reference I got on last review was Your reference number is AI ********** ....... Not one thing has been resolved or finalised.</p> <p>Still, we wait for the installation of our phone line and the transfer of the main account to another company in the same building........ it's now six weeks since we've app****.</p> <p>Even worse though, we have a domain which is hosted by Telkom, they are also our ISP..... and after a month they still cannot and will not provide us with our domain SMTP authenticated server settings. They still keep forwarding their standard smtp.telkomsa garbage even though we have a domain. They escalated our query to a tier 3, reference ********** .</p> <p>After a phone call, and then confirmation that there was a DNS problem and that it would be resolved promptly, this query was simply closed on their side, and a month later, we still wait for a functioning email facility from these clowns.</p> <p>Their staff seem to be horrifically *********** and lack even the most basic knowledge and understanding of what they are supposedly providing support on. When you phone it sounds like a flea market in the background with cackling and screeching, and a helpdesk agent who seems to be reading from s****s of paper on how to respond to queries, which they clearly do not grasp at all.</p> <p>I don't think we could possibly encounter any business more profoundly useless than Telkom and the ineptitude they seem to treasure in their staff.</p>
