Appalling customer service from Telkom! Worst telecoms service provider in SA
Telkom mobile account ***
On behalf of my grandmother, whom is now retired, and is also a loyal customer and has ensured that her payments are consistently up-to-date. She was notified via email that she is going to be handed over to the Credit Bureau for defaulting on her account payments, when in actual fact her payments were all deducted and is up-to-date.
Constant back and forth emails and call attempts have been made, however no bother to call either of us back because all Telkom cares about is deducting money and could not be bothered less about customer service. Dineo Maleho from nuDebt did not even honor her obligation as a service agent to have the decency to contact my grandmother when she requested many times to do so and very politely.
I eventually got through to Jerusha using the number *** where she advised that someone who would be able to assist will call either myself or my grandmother back and STILL neither of us have not received any call.
I called Jerusha AGAIN and she had given me an email address *** and said that it belonged to a Telkom Supervisor. I emailed Deon, who had read my email and did not contact either of us despite the severity of the issue.
Telkom's service is absolutely disgusting! I would actually never trust Telkom or advise anyone else to when it comes to any telecoms service.
1. Account details were updated for payment and account was successfully debited until October 2019, why was the account not debited after this month? 2. When I chatted to Jerusha (receptionist) this morning, it was mentioned that the account was paid last in February 2020. Your systems are not reflecting accurately in terms of what has been paid and what is outstanding 3. Based on Denoe Maleho’s emails, and the information sent to Ms. Naidoo, she requested a call back of which was still not made until today in order to address and resolve additional queries 4. Various attempts have been made to contact your staff, however it is very clear that Telkom’s core priority is deducting clients monies without providing the service that is actually paid for and that is expected as a loyal customer
Should Ms. Naidoo not be contacted (by yourself as the Supervisor) by the close of business tomorrow being 27 May 2020 to have these matters resolved, clarity provided to her in the best possible manner and payment arrangements to be made, I will ensure that these matters are posted on social media platforms then perhaps she will get the customer service that she deserves.
Ms. Naidoo has never defaulted on a payment and neither has she been sent a letter of demand, hence handing this account over to have her listed for this “adverse account” based on your teams inability to properly assist her is absolutely frustrating and is expected to be resolved and revoked immediately.
