Appalled by Telkoms service

Having went in to the Rosebank store on December the second, I was told that there is no stock for the Samsung Galaxy A3 there, or at any branch in the whole of South Africa. Apparently there is stock for contracts only and not prepaid deals (maybe because the prepaid deals will have them running at a loss). After an hour of checking and asking if there are any other solutions to this, I was then told that the following week stock will be in and to try again (Sounds now like I was just told this in order to brush me off to get me out of the consultant’s way and out of the store). I went in to the same store a week later only to be told to wait a week again. Frustrated, I went in to the Midrand, Sandton (apparently only a contract selling store which has multiple A3's in stock, just not for prepaid sales) and Greenstone stores only to be told that I am wasting my time and that the advertised deal will not be available ever. I was told to try again next year I might get ‘lucky’. I tried phoning the call centre and none of the consultants could help with prepaid deals as they deal with contracts only. It’s starting to sound repetitive because it is, the same song is being sung by all of their employees over and over again. I was then told to go in store to get help which was what I have been doing without success so I resorted to Facebook. I was called by a consultant after numerous Facebook posts on their page and I was told after a 2-hour long conversation/argument, that I cannot be helped and a Rosebank store manager will call me. This happened around the 19th of December. No call received back after 6 weeks of waiting. No help and no polite people dealt with either. Telkom is advertising deals they know they can’t be handing out to the public because they would probably run at a loss. And the best part is that there are no repercussions for false advertising or bad customer service. Telkom just has no idea what customer service is and how to liaise with their own management. Management is just sitting around and letting this all take a side road. And this is all coming from a customer willing to pay for a device upfront. All i see on any Telkom Facebook post is ****ed off customers and not one good thing said about Telkom. Just confirmation of what i have been saying i guess.

Ask your rosebank branch or your Midrand, greenstone or Sandton branch for my details. They took my details down just to get me out of the store. Not one call back. Try contacting me instead of waiting 5 days to reply. You guys are an annoyance. Pick up the phone and talk to your customers.

So in your private messages all you been doing is asking me for my ID number. Why is your messages set as private? Please change it to public so everyone can see our convo. And i sent you my ID number via private message now, including my cell nr. If you wanted it you could have just checked your facebook inbox. i have given it to you multiple times. I think the problem is that the seldom message i get from you guys is from different people (Noleen, Diketso, Thokozani, Lindani). Why isnt there a call assigned to one person to take responsibility for this colossal mess?

The delay has been 2 months now. Sorry doesnt really cut it anymore. Calls are always being escalated with no results. When will this be sorted? Give me a date and time
