*********** and the biggest greedy ****** in the country.

These people are just ridiculously *********** and greedy.We signed a contract on a promotion in April at our local branch for R449 for 12 months for a 25/10mbps line . Within a few weeks even before our first payment Telkom increases the price by 25% without notice and against the contract we signed for 12 months . They then also deducted money for the installation of which the promotion said it was free and included. We then confronted our branch about this and managed to remove the installation cost from the bill. End of the month came and telkom does not take the debit order and then switches off the wifi blaming us that we did not pay , although it is a debit order and they just did not deduct the money . We had to phone again . They switched it back on and took the debit order ,but only to find out the end of the next month they charged us a reactivation fee after it was their fault! They also tried to debit double the amount which consisted of a in rased price we did not sign for (which is actually the price of a 40/20mbps line, and we have a 25/10mbps line) and it also includes the reactivation fee for them fixing their own mistake and aswell as other fees the people of telkom can not tell us clearly what it is for .

In conclusion if I knew what I know now , I would have never signed with telkom. Their service is good fast and uninterrupted but you can not know for sure when the end of the month come what you are going to be charged and for what you are going to be charged .
