An unfortunate series of events that only benefit Telkom

There exists a culture of making mistakes of which the Netto effect is without exception to Telkom's benefit.

Tried migrating my contract to a lower package. Can't be done! Afterwards a representative of Telkom called us to enquire whether we'd like to take advantage of a deal comprising exactly of what we requested. I signed up but my old contract fee still gets debited even though the description on my account has changed.

Migrated my wife's contract from freeme 5gb to freeme 20gb lite @ R499. Am instead being billed for the R605 option.

I am in KZN. Telkom call centre won't assist, they say I must visit the store at which it was done(in Pretoria).

I explained that it is 700km away.

Sorry, sir. That is how it works.

I visited a store at gateway mall to try and get it sorted out. They said someone from accounts will call me. Never happened.

Reviewer Update
Today is day 31 of following up. I have left messages for Busi Sibamba(supervisor), Xoliswa Thabethe(supervisor), Harrison Malinga, Mbali Simelani(call centre agent) and have spoken with Luthando Ngcobo(supervisor). No one gets back I have made 27 calls to your call centre. Was referred back to a telkom store six times. Only to be told that the stores don't deal with customer queries. I have emailed Luthando as well as Xoliswa. Providing proof of telkom's mistake as well as details of the products you offer that your own(outsourced) staff is not aware of.
