An Internet Service provider with no Modems...

<p>So I learned a new joke to tell at my next braai. What do you call an Internet Service Provider with no Modems? Telkom! That's right folks, I have a faulty modem that the Telkom Technician diagnosed and stated that I needed to exchange it at the Telkom shop as it is still under warranty. Arrived there only to be told that there are no modems available and have a 2 page long waiting list. Furthermore, there are no modems at the other telkom shops in cape town as well. Ridicilous... What if a person's Modem is completely kaput? What will Telkom say then? "Sorry Sir"?</p> <p>I will not renew my contract with Telkom at the end of the year. Also I've written a review on Telkom here before and received a reference number that meant squat as no one followed up on it. So please keep your so called "reference" numbers to yourself unless they mean something.</p>
