Almost 4 months AFTER CANCELLATION: Still getting *******LY BILLED, on account that doesn't exist anymore for a residence that I don't live in anymore.
After continuing to contact Telkom since the end of January 2018 to cancel my services/contract with them because I have moved, I am still getting billed, as so many other seem to be. I contacted them multiple times about this and was patience and lenient. I am now at the end of my rope however.
My problem is not resolved, I am still being billed. I cancelled my accounts with Telkom and Mweb on 26 January 2018 (if I recall correctly, definitely before the 29th of January). Last payment to Mweb was on 1 February 2018.
I closed my ABSA account since I don't have an income anymore and was under the impression I have finished my 60 day (30 days for Mweb and then another 30 days for Telkom according to your Facebook support team) end of services notice with Telkom.
It seems I still owe Telkom R498 for services for March according to my analysis of the invoices, HOWEVER I'm still being charged for April and May. I don't even live in Gauteng anymore.
I am linking to an album screenshots for perusal, including the Facebook support messages.

I am willing to pay for March as I understood from customer support's Facebook message that I still need to pay for March and the debit order for March only went down late in April AFTER I closed my account with ABSA. So I will pay for that.
I am afraid that I will get blacklisted unfairly, luckily my husband is willing to fight Telkom in court if it should reach that point since, obviously, all the evidence proves Telkom is *******ly trying to charge me. I obviously hope I don't have to pay a law firm to deal with a service provider that is supposed to provide efficient service to customers regardless of whether or not they are ending their contract.
I can't cope with this anymore and I am so severely distraught due to this predicament and I am suffering emotional distress due to stress.
