All this data but no service?

For the last two days I can not use any data on my phone I am able to make a phone call but can not send any whatsapp messages or browse the internet. Why do I pay for my contract if I am not able to make use of the product? Best is if you want to sort it out with the so called customer service the line just drops everytime I make an effort to phone. Fix your equipment or pay back the money.
