after fighting for more than a year i have been handed over wrongfully!

This experience has left me with nowhere to go and in danger of becoming a listed bad payer. In August 2016 we moved into a new place, the signal was terrible and we lodged a complaint with the number ********** 1, this was done at the end of July 2016. Someone came out to test, confirmed it was the worst he had ever seen and said someone else will come fix the problem.

By the end of August we had not gotten any feedback, no one came to fix the problem and we had not had working internet for the whole month. I called the call centre everyday for more than 2 weeks, spending hours on the phone. On the 29th of August i sent a cancellation letter. I then paid for September, even though i was not getting any internet.

I complained on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid= ********** ********** 75&id= ********** ********** 2 which has subsequently been removed and i complained on Hello Peter on the 28th of September 2016.

The accounts cancellation form was sent on 3 occasions, the facebook complaint was acknowledged by a few different people as was the Hello Peter post. Still with no help or end to this.

I cancelled the debit on my account in October 2016, after giving more than a months notice, also trying everything within my power to phone, email and go to different telkom branches for assistance, All of my efforts came to nothing.

My account has been regularly debited and each time i reverse the debit at extra cost to myself. I have emailed the consumer commission, the credit regulator as well with this matter.

To this day i have had no contact from Telkom and my account still gets debited which i then reverse.

What can i do to sort this out, i am so dejected and feel helpless. Worst is i cant seem to prevent Telkom from having me listed as a bad payer wrongfully.
