ADSL Upgrade

I am currently on a 2mbps package with Telkom and noticed that my line speed was not fast enough to stream YouTube on my smart tv and needed to upgrade my line from 2mbps to 4mbps.<br> <br> I went on the Telkom website to check coverage first before applying for the new line and according to the website, the exchange can handle 10mbps (copper) and the exchange can be literally seen from my balcony.<br> <br> I was told that 2mbps is the fastest line I can get due to my distance from the exchange. If I can't get higher than 2mbps and I live within 500m of the exchange, how can the exchange claim 10mbps speed.<br> <br> I am aware that the claim is \up to 10mbps"but"
