ADSL to LTE cutover - Telkom telephone Sales consultants are ********* in the info they give you.

Telkom LTE cutover from ADSL. GOt called by a Telkom Sales consultant during their cutover project from ADSL to LTE/Fibre. I told the consultant what our monthly usage was and emphasised that we cannot use less than this. (350Gb) I asked the telephone consultant 3 times to make sure that if we left our ADSL 10mb package, we would still retain at least 10MB speed on LTE - They assured us that the speed would not at any stage drop below 10mb because this was our current package) I asked if we would be throttled or shaped in any way or form - 3 times i asked this!!! The consultant assured us that no shaping or throttling would happen if we cut over to LTE from our ADSL line.

Well... 1st Month in and we are getting Throttled - currently on a 2MB max speed. I called Telkom to querie and escalate this and all the manager could say is this is the package im on (which gets throttled after 150GB!!!!!!) and there is nothing he could do about it

It is completely ********* to lie to clients to get them to agree to cut over. Its actually disgusting Telkom. and the worse thing about it is that there does not appear to be any form of recourse to remedy this. It's actually unbelievable that your service is this bad.
