Adsl setup

I had adsl line installed yesterday, technician couldn't complete installation as I have not been given my username and password.visited telkom direct store in Durban cbd and was advised that they cant assist me as I need to bring the router in to have it set up. I decided to try the call centre when I got home after more than 2 hrs on the phone no answer. What do I do now, this is not customer service at all. I am at my wits end need help setting up my router how else am I suppose to get this done. Come on Telkom this is not a very impression for a first time customer
