ADSL package short of product items

Telkom installed my ADSL line yesterday, after 22 days of waiting for service....The technician only gave me the D-Link modem, and not the LIT box or the SIM as they advertised. I never signed for the modem, so how do I know or Telkom know that product package was fully delivered? When do I get the LIT box and SIM? And how is the SIM loaded with the promised 1GB data?
