ADSL LINE SPEED

Good Day.<br> <br> This is not so much of a complaint, but more to ask about the ADSL line speeds in George, Heather Park. I have been staying in George since 1993, and am now needing a 10mb or 20mb ADSL line. I was informed that Heather Park in George is able to go up to a 4mb ADSL. Why is this? Heather Park in George in one of the upmarket areas, but it has such a poor ADSL line speed. Are there any future plans for an upgrade in this area?<br> <br> I have also been told that decisions about ADSL line speeds are based on demand. Fair enough, but do any requests for a fast line ever get captured on system? The answer is NO. When going to a Telkom store and asking for a fast line, the agent will check online and if not possible, they will just recommend Telkom Mobile.
