Adsl Line prolems

I have recently reported that my telkom line is faulty with the following problems. As soon as it rains or there is heavy wind the line is noisy or off. The telkom technicians was here to try and fix it but was unable to do so , they said they could not fix it because the main cable on the poles are so old they will request for new cable. It has been two weeks with no further contact or information from them. The problems is still the same.
