ADSL Line Move Still not Done

A move of my current ADSL line was schedualed to take place on the 11th of July 2017. The Tech came out yo my new premisis after which he spend the whole of about 10min just to inform me that the neighberhood had some form of copper line issue and so he can not complete the move until this issue was resolved. From this point I have not once received a single call, sms, mail, post dove or any other form of communication as to what the status is of my move.

I called the call center on the 20th to find out what is going on only to be told the fault has been handed to cabeling and that it's currently sitting there, no aditional info... nothing. This is no news to me as this is the genral, standard from Telkom accepted by Telkom as proper customer service.

I called again today seeing as it's been 10 days already and again I was just told that the fault, whihc at this point was escalated at my request due to my call from yesterday is still just sitting with cabeling and that the agent can not give me any indication as to how long this fault will still last, whats the status of the case or any thing for that matter. A complete waste of time calling them as usual. I asked the agent if there was no way to get in contact with cabeling and I was just given the usual answer "No sorry sir we have no telephone numbers or manner to contact them". How this is possible is beyhond me, honestly. They work for the same company and to provide customer serice this should be no problem... but then again we are all aware of the type of customer service all the customers form TElkom receive from them... NONE! Just look at your Hello Peter score for god sake. This has to tell you something does it not.

What does one have to do just to get proper feedback and info when loggin a case with this company? I my self work in the customer service industry and If I had to give such level of work and my people working for me give such service I myself as well as my staff would all be fired with in an instance. How Telkom's management and CEO's accepts such work is just mind blowing. It's all becasue they have the manopoly that's why, I mean where else are we supposed to get ADSL from right. So we as customers should just shut up and take it as it is right. Pathetic.

If there is any hope of someone within Telkom that actaully give a dman, please help me out if you can.

Order No: ********** 52

Escalation ***

Reviewer Update

So it's now the 26th of July and I have still not been assisted by Telkom. Again, I had to call to find out what’s going on. According to the agent I spoke with said the last update on my issue was made by Technical. I spoke with Technical and was told the fault on the lines was attended too on the 25th which was yesterday. From there she was absolutely clueless as to where the case goes from there. Shocking but expected from Telkom.

So now I have to call relocations again to find out what now. Absolutely ridiculous.

So now I have to call relocations again to find out what now. Absoulutley redicioulous
