ADSL issues

<p>At first I was going to give Telkom a big thumbs up for service and response but now it's the complete opposite. </p> <p> </p> <p>In the middle of August I noticed a drop in my ADSL line speed. So I logged the issue and got a reference number. I wasn't too phased about when the issue would be addressed as I at least had Internet still. On the morning of Sunday the 25th of September a Telkom technician came to my house and checked the line in my house and at the box just outside our house and the Internet speed was back up to 100%. He even came back later that same day to check with me if the Internet speed was still fine, which it was. </p> <p> </p> <p>The Internet was working great for 3 days. It was working on Wednesday night the 28th of September and Thursday morning the 29th of September. Then suddenly on Thursday night the line went dead. So Friday it was logged and a reference number was received and I was told the line is not synced from the exchange. </p> <p> </p> <p>What I don't understand is how can the line just be fixed after over a month of waiting and then a few days later it's completely dead. This issue has been escalated twice already since Friday and I really just need the line to be sorted out once and for all.</p> <p> </p> <p>I could deal with a slower Internet but I can't deal with not Internet at all. </p>
