ADSL Fault not repaired, no lte coverage (even when your coverage map says im covered)

Hi Telkom

It's me again, it would appear that the only way to get your attention is to go through this website, so here goes. I have had many many issues with my ADSL service, many tickets logged, many tickets closed, with no feedback and no resolution. Even with my first complaint on HP, we were talking over email, and then you stopped replying to my email?

The initial problem with my line was that it was not syncing at 10mb. I logged the service request as there was a clear fault on the line. 3 independent contacts said the same thing. There is a physical fault on the line, replace the copper. Here is the ticket no : 44AWK150816

The fualt indicated the following:
LINE: Cross to Working pair: Ring (tip) Side moderate battery ring to ground(tip to ground) n V: Vercode 11 Provisional clear not indicated.

This indicates that there is a physical fault on the line and the service can be improved by replacing the cables from the telephone phole or road into my house. The tech closed the ticket indicating there is nothing wrong with the line. Tests indicate that the fault still exists on the line.

In pure desperation I bought an lte router from your store, took out a 100GB capped package (at an exorbitant price might I add) thinking I can make use of the inegrated sim solution. I thought this will alleviate my poor connection over ADSL. To my surprise, even though I am on your coverage map, I received worse results with lte. When I wanted to return the router (R1300 later) I was informed that the telkom store can not take the router back. So now I am sitting with a faulty ADSL line and a router I cant do anything with. Imagine my delight. I was informed to once again call your call center and log the ticket, here is is the ref ********** 4. I only logged the ticket today, but if you can look at it, it will be super awesome.

About a month ago I wanted my ISP to take over my ADSL portion of my line, I went through the rigmaroll, got passed from dept to dept, finally I got sent a cancellation form to request my line to be put in the holding pool for my ISP to pick up. I filled in the form and sent it back, got your autoresponse, i thought to myself, great, someone will pick this up. This process should be fairly simple but seemingly no one on your call center knows how to do it. This was done out of pure desperation because i wanted to hand over the responsibility of dealing with Telkom over to someone else.

So a month later, my ADSL portion of my line is still not in the holding pool, I am still sitting with a fault on my line, I am sitting with a router I cant do anything with, logged numerous tickets with no feedback. I feel there was more the tech could have done to improve my service, was he just too lazy to replace the cables and took the easy way out? Was just the bare minimum done? Seems like it.

It is sad that one has to come to a website like this to receive the most basic service. I am just tired of being put through from one dept to the next without any of them resolving my call.

Here was what I need done, explicitly.
I need the ADSL portion of my line put into your holding pool so that my ISP can pick it up and transer it to them. I need the local leads replaced from the telephone pole in my back yard into my house. When the Bellville North Exchange gets upgraded on 6 September this year with new MSANs, I want my service moved to that so that I can make use of VDSL.

When you send me an sms to say a tech will attend to my problem between 8am and 4pm, please let the tech contact the client with feedback or make an appointment to meet the client at home so that I do not make arrangements to be at home (thinking the tech is coming to my house) and then no one shows up, this is very unprofessional.

This is all I ask.
