ADSL does not work in my area

I have pasted below where I live and the ADSL is as slow as anything in my area. I get 15MB when I pay for 20MB. Telkom tried to upgrade me to 40MB but although I am 1 minute walking distance from the exchange the wires are 1.5km away from the exchange so I cannot get 40Mb at all. If you cannot supply a good ADSL service with your copper then please upgrade our area to Fibre. I live 2km from the Gautrain in Sandton which is the CBD of Sandton.
