Accounts and Billing Problem unresolved after 16 months

this problem is still not solved, 16 month's after the death of my husband. Following his death, his Telkom account was taken on by his estate's attorney, then they contacted Telkom to change it to my name, this proved very difficult. Eventually Telkom split his account in two, keeping one account and invoice in his name and one in mine. This meant my line and internet were cut off twice. After many phone calls i was told that my late husband's portion of the billing was put into my name, and that the invoice would be paid by debit order. The credit due on his account would be transferred to my own before they were merged. It appears that the debit has not been put in place - this month i have an invoice to my account, with arrears included for February; plus an invoice to my husband's "Late Estate" account number, showing credit. i tried paying the bill via the telkom site, by instant EFT and by credit card, neither worked. Telkom's chat line agent told me i should pay the invoice asap by cash to avoid disconnection. and that i must contact accounts to request a dispute be logged. The accounts department has failed on various occasions to remedy this apparently straightforward situation; the chatline agents are not in a position to advice anything other than that i get in touch with the accounts department.....
