Accounts always wrong

I have absolutely had it with telkom making mistakes on accounts. I signed up for a FTTH account back in October 2016 and gave the sales person all my information needed and was told that the amount for the FTTH would be debited at the end of every month. I then received an SMS saying my account was in arrears. Checked my internet banking to realise no amount had been debited since the activation of my line.

I now owe Telkom R2700+- and when I phoned 10210 and spoke with accounts, they told me that the statements were being sent to an old address i used to stay in Queensburgh Durban (Haven't lived there in over 5 years), but yet the line is in Randpark ridge Johannesburg where I live and that the account is not setup for debit order. How can Telkom expect someone to now pay out this amount in a timely fashion.

I would understand if this happened once, but it has happened now with every account I have had with them. First in Durban (Was handed over to Telkom's attorneys for not paying account, which had been paid in full already). Then I opened a cellphone contract and they billed someone elses account for my contract (Had to pay R1800 in arrears before line was reactivated). Then they never closed my old adsl line as instructed and tried to fine me for not paying it months later. Now this.

I just think Telkom should be held responsible for not double checking their clients information when entering it on to their system and follow up with the clients.
